Santa visit and Advent event

4 December 2023 (by admin)

On Friday 1st December the children went to the village hall to see Santa, then in the afternoon hung their decorations on our christmas tree at school.

All the children walked up the road to see Santa in the Village Hall Grotto. It was snowing so it felt really Christmassy. The children were all given gifts. Thank you to June Cox who organised the treat for the children.

In the afternoon the whole school community got together, singing in the start of the advent period. A big thankyou to Mr and Mrs Beck for donating our Christmas Tree. The children loved putting their decorations on it and the lights being switched on. To end the event, FOBS had set up a fayre in the hall where people were able to buy a hot drink and spend money on the stalls. Thank you to Hannah Jones for organising this.

It was fun. It was snowing and we went to the hall to see Santa. At school we had a christmas fayre and hung the decorations on the tree.

We went to see Santa at the village hall and we got a present from Santa. We walked back to school in the now. When we got back to put our presents at the front of the classroom and we made christmas cards. In the afternoon we hung our decorations on the tree and sang songs. After that we went in the hall for the fayre. I had fun and it was really good.
