Harvest Celebration

16 October 2023 (by admin)

On Friday 13th we held our Harvest Celebration. Toby, Thomas and April give their reports of the event.

On Friday 13th we held our Harvest Celebration. Our display of Harvest foods and gifts was overwhelming this year.Thank you so much to all the parents for all your generous donations. The food was all collected by Medway Foodbank who said that donations are at an all time low. We really made a difference. Thank you

We had a harvest assembly and we sang lots of songs like cauliflowers fluffy and we plough the fields and scatter. We brought in lots of food and drink which we sent to a food bank. It goes to people and families who don't have enough food.

In our harvest worship we learnt about sowing the seeds and we sang lots of songs about gratefulness and harvest food. We brought in loads of food and made a display. Then the food went to a foodbank where people that don't have much can get some food.
We made a seed display in the hall "What can we plant a seed of today?".
If we show respect we can plant the seed of respect.
