General Arrangements

If you would like your child to attend our school, the first step is to arrange a visit by calling the school office to book in on one of our Parent Tours. These dates are advetised on our website.

Please be aware that, although we are a Kent school, the Local Authority you pay your Council Tax to is the Local Authority you need to apply to for a school place. The particular Local Authority you reside in has no effect on your chances of gaining a place. You should only complete a form listing all your school preferences to your relevant Local Authority.

Therefore if you pay Council Tax to Medway Council you should list your Kent and Medway schools in preference order and complete an online form at:  https://www.medway.gov.uk/info/200137/schools_and_learning/1059/applying_for_a_primary_school_place/3

If you pay your Council Tax to a Kent authority (i.e. Maidstone, Sittingbourne or Tonbridge and Malling) you should list your Kent and Medway schools in preference order and complete an online form at: www.kent.gov.uk/ola

Each site has a side bar on which there are links to further information on the process and schools. As an ‘Eco-school’ we strongly advise parents to apply online rather than use paper forms. However, if you do not have access to the internet you are welcome to call into the school to pick up a Kent area application form, or call into a Medway area school for a Medway form should you reside in that authority

If you are unsuccessful in gaining a place at your preferred school, then you have the right to appeal through your local authority.
